Mental Health and Wellness Program
Avoiding and Overcoming Burnout

Discover how to pursue creative thinking for innovative results in self-betterment. This session is extremely motivating; it calls people to action in a meaningful and inspiring way. If an attendee is facing self-burnout, they won't be by the conclusion of the session. If an organization is struggling with employee burnout, their management/leadership will exit the session with a significantly improved understanding of how to address the issue within the company. Self-betterment is a critical factor in avoiding and overcoming burnout. Dr. Siebert walks each attendee through that process, where they can rationalize it in their own mind for understanding, and directly apply it to their own life and career immediately. Powerful, inspiring, and for many attendees, life-changing.

Conversations on Grief

The Conversations on Grief are a ninety-minute program centered on grief and the process of grieving. During our Conversations on Grief, our time together focuses on guidance and discussion intended to improve the peace of mind, and peace of heart, for the attendees. The Conversations are a safe, welcoming environment where participants are with people that understand the hardships and emotions of grief.

Together, individuals that choose to participate enhance their understanding of what to expect in future days and what ‘normal’ looks like in the process of grieving. Grief is unpredictable, and there is no “right” way to grieve. We understand this, and we talk about it.

Our Conversations are designed to provide love, care, growth, support, and understanding. The Conversations are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. Any individual, from any community, is welcome. There is no fee, the program is free of charge.

The focus of the Conversations is to improve self-awareness and self-reflection during the process of grieving. By better understanding oneself, by better understanding the emotions that you are feeling, individuals can express their grief in a healthier way. As we iterate later in this book, grief cannot be cured. Grief can only be processed and understood. This book is designed to assist individuals with the processing of their own grief.

This is the book we utilize for our Conversations on Grief. While we deeply wish we could connect with everyone in-person and have each of you be an active participant in the Conversations, we realize that isn’t feasible.

We’ve made this resource available to use in your own way. You may choose to go through this experience on your own, or you may choose to use this resource to share with others and have your own Conversations on Grief. You know yourself; you know what is best for your own well-being, and we respect that in every way.

This book is a four-week guide covering key components of grief and the grieving process. Each week, we cover a topic related to grief. There are five reflective areas that we address and focus on for each topic (week). Additionally, there are self-reflective questions for participants to answer throughout the week. There is also a weekly exercise provided for participants; this exercise is designed to be a healthy resource and outlet during our time together.

To begin, we recommend you lightly read the book in its entirety to gather an understanding of the process, meaning, and purpose of the experience. From there, we recommend you read the weekly reflections (for the week) daily, and self-reflect each day on the insight that is shared. We look forward to our four-week journey with you as we lead each other through the process of grieving to reach the process of healing.

We don’t have the answers, and we will never claim to. There is love in our heart for you. We understand, and we care. We are hopeful that reading this book, and actively participating in the reflections it provides, will be a healing experience for you.
